Max joined API in August of 2022 as our Chief Financial Officer. In his role, Max leads the finance and accounting operations for API. He brings over 14 years of progressive real estate finance and accounting experience. Prior to joining API, Max was the CFO at Tricap Residential Group, a real estate firm that specializes in value-add multi-family real estate and a finance leader at Heitman LLC, a global real estate investment management firm. Max began his career as an auditor at RSM US LLP, which is formerly McGladrey LLP, focusing on the real estate industry. In addition to leading the Finance and Accounting teams, Max has experience in valuations, banking, tax and investor relations. Max has earned both his CPA license and CFA designation. In his free time, Max enjoys spending time with his growing family and occasionally firing up his homemade barrel sauna, especially during the lovely Chicago winters.

Scott joined API in December of 2021 as our Chief Investment Officer. In his role, Scott is responsible for all Acquisitions and Marketing activity and is tasked with growing the American Postal Infrastructure portfolio. Scott brings over 25 years of experience in business development and financial management in the telecom and commercial real estate industries. Prior to joining API, Scott spent 21 years with American Tower Corporation in multiple leadership roles. Most recently, as Regional Vice President for American Tower’s East Region, Scott was responsible for a $1B+ revenue budget, new business development and asset management for the eastern half of the United States. During his tenure, Scott played an important role in the growth of American Tower from a small cap start up to the world’s largest publicly traded REIT. He brings a passion for developing strong business partnerships and value creation. Scott began his career in business development with Ameritech Cellular in Chicago. When Scott is not working, he enjoys spending time watching his kids play competitive ice hockey and baseball. He is an avid sports fan and enjoys snow skiing and playing ice hockey.

Rob joined API in September 2023 as our Chief Operating Officer. Rob brings 30 years of progressive real estate construction, asset management, operations, and finance experience. His experience includes oversight of $1.7B+ of multifamily properties in addition to $2B+ of office, retail, and industrial assets within several platforms including REITS, private equity, and investment management firms. Rob has held various leadership positions at Tricap Residential Group, Waterton, Inland Real Estate Group, and Hines. He is a licensed architect as well as a licensed real estate broker in the State of Illinois. In his free time, Rob enjoys spending time with his family, attending his children’s. sporting events, golfing, biking, woodworking, and constantly performing home improvements.
Christina joined API in November of 2022 as our Vice President of Closing Operations. In her role, Christina is responsible for the processing and closing of all of our transactions. Working closely with our Acquisitions Team, our Property Inspection Vendors, our legal team and our title companies, Christina is responsible for everything needed to efficiently take our transactions from Contract through Closing. She believes in developing strong working relationships with all parties to ensure a smooth and timely transaction. Christina brings 20+ years of experience working on real estate transactions, specializing in land title, title insurance, due diligence and underwriting. Prior to joining API, she spent 20 years working with various firms as a Senior Title Examiner and Real Estate Paralegal. Christina is a certified Paralegal with her degree from MacCormac College in Chicago with a focus on Real Estate Law. She has also earned her Illinois Title Professional (ITP) and Illinois Escrow Professional (IEP) designations. Christina is an avid traveler and enjoys spending her free time with family and friends.
Brian joined API in January of 2022 and is our Vice President of Acquisitions. In his role, Brian leads our team of Acquisitions Managers that are responsible for working with owners of small portfolios and single locations. Brian is known for his creativity in finding ways to solve problems and his ability to develop strong working relationships with owners. He brings over 20 years of Sales, Marketing and Business Development experience in various industries. Prior to joining API, Brian spent 12 years in the wireless telecommunications industry with American Tower. Brian was very successful in working with the national commercial wireless carriers to help address their network needs by finding and / or developing locations to help them serve their customers. During his tenure at American Tower, Brian was regarded for his performance and his significant contribution to growing the company. In his free time, Brian enjoys playing and watching soccer and spending time with his family.
Eryka joined API in December of 2022 as our Acquisitions Manager. In her role, Eryka is responsible for working with owners of single locations and small portfolios. Eryka is regarded for her consultative approach and her ability to find win-win solutions. Prior to joining API, Eryka worked for Kandji, Inc. in Apple Device Management and Security Platform Sales. Eryka has a Bachelor of Science degree from Illinois Wesleyan University with a Major in Business Administration and a Minor in Hispanic Studies. In her free time, Eryka enjoys cooking for friends and family, reading and traveling.
Kelly joined API in August 2023 as an Acquisitions Manager. In her role, she will be working with owners of single locations and small portfolios. Kelly is regarded for her friendly approach and has crafted win-win solutions. Prior to joining API, Kelly has worked as a licensed real estate professional, honing her skills by assisting investors in identifying both commercial and residential investment properties. Kelly is an invaluable addition to our acquisitions team contributing her unique skills and perspective to our initiatives. In her free time, Kelly enjoys spending quality time with her daughter and all fitness related activities.

Susan joined API in May of 2021 as our Marketing Manager. In her role, Susan is responsible for our Marketing Initiatives as well the ownership, maintenance and development of our CRM and database. Susan is regarded for her positive attitude and her ability to help make everyone better at what they do by providing helpful tools and thoughtful data analysis. Susan brings extensive experience in analytics, merchandising, category management and consumer market research. Prior to joining API, Susan worked at Office Max where she was responsible for over $30M in retail sales while working in new business development. When she is not working, Susan enjoys spending time with family pursuing fitness, faith and fun.
Daniel joined API in July of 2023 as our Data Coordinator. In his role, Daniel is responsible for data integrity and management of our CRM database. Daniel is regarded for his analytical expertise and ability to find unique solutions in a multitude of areas. Prior to joining API, he excelled in property management, showcasing exceptional leadership while overseeing diverse residential properties in South Florida, ensuring seamless operations and tenant satisfaction. Daniel has his Associate of Arts degree in Business from Palm Beach State College. During his free time, Daniel finds joy in watching basketball and he cherishes the meaningful connections cultivated with friends, family, and his devoted canine companion, Brady.
Nurija joined API in April of 2019 and is our Director of Accounting. In her role, Nurija is responsible for all aspects of Accounting for American Postal Infrastructure. Working with Brian Sanchez on her team, Nurija ensures that all of the financial requirements of our properties are met and that our obligations are met on time. Prior to joining API, Nurija worked as an Accountant at Reliant Realty where she was responsible for a large volume of accounts payable, cash and payroll transactions for a team of over 150 people. Nurija has a BA from Baruch College in New York and recently completed her MS in Taxation from Baruch as well. In her free time, Nurija enjoys watching documentaries and traveling and is an avid soccer fan.
Brian first joined API in July of 2021 as an intern on our Finance team. He was promoted to Accountant in a full time position in January of 2022. In his role, Brian is responsible for accounts payable, bank reconciliations and financial reporting. Brian joined us while completing his degree but prior to joining API, he was a Finance intern with Maimonides Medical Center in New York and before that, he served as a Safety Coordinator at Cavan Builders. Brian has an MS in Accounting from Baruch and intends to pursue a Masters Degree in Business Analytics. In his free time, Brian enjoys biking, riding, playing basketball and chess.
Dylan Reilly joined API in August of 2022 and is our Financial Analyst. In his role, Dylan is responsible for modeling and preparing our offers. Dylan also works closely with our CFO on projects requiring financial modeling and analysis. Dylan joined us shortly after graduating from university but his prior experience includes an internship at Discovery Capital and web3 company Superworld where he gained experience working in business development and finance. Dylan is an avid fan of the New York Yankees and Oakland A’s. In his free time, Dylan likes spending time on the lake with friends and studying applications for blockchain.
Rob joined API in January of 2021 in the role of Project Manager. In his role, Rob is responsible for managing and maintaining our property portfolio. Rob works closely with the USPS to ensure that our Post Office properties are well maintained to satisfy and support the daily operation of the US Postal Service. Prior to joining API, Rob worked in the non-profit industry for the past 12 years. Rob’s roles included serving as the General Manager of hotel facilities that provided housing for families of loved ones undergoing medical procedures as well as the IT Manager for the Salvation Army National Capital Area Command, providing IT leadership to a $29M non-profit organization. Rob also served as the Operations Director for the Salvation Army’s largest residential substance abuse facility in Washington DC where he was responsible for revenue and contract negotiation for this 64,000 square foot facility. In his free time, Rob enjoys camping, biking, tinkering with electronics and spending time with family.
Sophia joined API in September of 2022 as an Analyst on our Asset Management team. In her role, Sophia is responsible for supporting the Asset Management team and helping to ensure that our properties are maintained to a high standard of care. She brings with her a wealth of experience in various industries. Prior to joining API, Sophia was a Customer Service Manager at Middletown Valley Bank where her responsibilities included opening business accounts, processing loan applications and facilitating transactions. Before her work in banking, Sophia was a Corrections Officer at a County Jail in Central Pennsylvania. Sophia has lived in Pennsylvania, Maryland and Virginia and recently made her way back home to Pennsylvania. In her free time, Sophia enjoys spending time with friends and loved ones, going to the beach any chance she gets and crossing items off her bucket list.
Tori joined API in July 2023 as our Leasing Analyst. In her role, she is primarily responsible for collecting, gathering, and organizing real estate & leasing data to provide insights. Tori is an accomplished professional with a strong background in coaching and sales development. Prior to API, Tori exceeded sales quotas and established successful partnerships. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Economics from Wofford College. When Tori is not working she enjoys cooking, baking, playing with her Bernadoodle (Lulu), and recently started taking golf lessons.

Bob is the CEO and Managing Director of American Infrastructure Partners (AIP), and has been a private equity investor for over 30 years. He has been an investor and director in a wide variety of infrastructure and other sectors including building materials, forest products, energy production and distribution, printing and office supplies, death care, health and fitness, and consumer products and services. Previously, he was a managing director of McCown De Leeuw, a middle-market private equity firm. In that role, he gained significant experience in mergers, acquisitions, and business strategy at Bain, where he focused on expansion strategies, cost reduction, and acquisition analysis.
Bob joined our board in early 2015 and currently serves as the board Chairman or as a Board member for several companies. He is also integrally involved in our new initiatives. Previously, Bob has served as a CEO, board member, and board adviser to more than 40 middle market companies over 35 years, helping to lead them through management transitions, significant growth initiatives and other business transformations. In those roles, he has worked with numerous private equity sponsors across a wide range of industries.
Bill joined our board in 2018 bringing more than 20 years of experience originating transactions in water, energy, clean-tech, renewable fuels, waste management, agriculture, infrastructure, and business services. As part of his project finance work in the water and energy sectors, Bill recruited senior management and was integral to the negotiation and execution of the permitting, construction, commissioning and financial processes. Previously, Bill co-founded NewWorld in June 2009. Before NewWorld, he was a Managing Director at GSC Group, a private equity firm. In his role, he focused on deal origination and SPAC investments in natural resources, logistics and financial services. Prior to GSC. Bill managed private equity investments for Berggruen Holdings, a private-equity firm committed to theme investing in resource scarcity.
Doug joined our board in 2018 with over 30 years of CEO, Chairman, and Executive Operating experience, in transportation and logistics, both public and private, with companies such as FedEx, Golden State Overnight, and Grainger. Previously, Doug served as the Chairman of Golden State Overnight and as the CEO of nal.syncreon, owned by Lake Capital, a specialized provider of integrated logistics services and supply chain solutions to global industries. Doug also served as CEO of Operating Partners LLC. In his role, he identified, sourced and executed platform business acquisitions for private equity firms in behavioral health, transportation, logistics, and distribution. In addition, Doug was previously the President of FedEx Supply Chain Management.

Kristin Seaver joined our board in 2022 as an accomplished executive deeply experienced in operations, technology, cyber risk and logistics, all at significant scale. She has excelled in multiple senior executive roles while leading in a highly complex operating environment of public service, statutory obligation and regulatory requirement. Previously, she had a 30-year career with the United States Postal Service. Kristin served on the Executive Leadership Committee for 5 years as both the Chief Information Officer and the Chief Retail & Delivery Officer. In her roles as the Chief Retail & Delivery Officer and Executive Vice President Kristin led a $40B operating unit of over 450,000 employees who deliver 40% of the world’s mail and provide retail access at over 30,000 locations nationwide. Kristin drove the vision, strategy and operational execution for $12B in retail revenue while also leading one of the world’s largest last mile delivery networks delivering to 161M addresses each day. She operated a delivery vehicle fleet of over 280,000 vehicles and championed the $10B investment for the Next year Generation Delivery Vehicle. She empowered a high-performance leadership team committed to customer service, operational excellence and employee engagement across a diverse, dispersed union workforce.

Jon joined the board in 2024 after 4 years as our CEO. He brings over 25 years of experience in delivering operating and financial performance improvement to companies, both in the executive and financial advisor roles. Prior to joining American Postal Infrastructure Partners, Jon held the positions of President and CFO at Sears Auto Centers, ITS ConGlobal and Neebo, Inc., respectively. As the President and CFO at Sears Auto Centers, he created the successful DieHard tire, launched the industry-first tire install relationship with Amazon and oversaw the DieHard Auto Center expansion. In addition to his C-level roles, he spent 10 years as an operating and performance improvement advisor, most notably at AlixPartners LLC. He began his career as a corporate and investment banker.
